Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani engaged in a phone call with HH Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and National Security Adviser of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The conversation centered on enhancing cooperation between the two nations and evaluating ways to bolster these relations further.
According to Qatar News Agency, the dialogue also focused on mediation efforts led by Pakistan between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The leaders discussed strategies to coordinate efforts in supporting these mediation initiatives aimed at reducing tensions, thereby contributing to regional security and stability.
During the call, HE the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of backing ongoing mediation efforts to achieve a sustainable peace agreement.
