Doha: HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met with a delegation of members of the United States Congress, led by HE Representative for Washington’s 9th Congressional District Adam Smith, during the delegation’s visit to the country.
According to Qatar News Agency, the meeting focused on the close strategic relations between the State of Qatar and the United States, with discussions centered on ways to support and enhance these ties. The two sides also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region, particularly concerning the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
