Doha: Qatar Airways announced the temporary suspension of its flights to and from Doha due to the closure of Qatari airspace.
According to Qatar News Agency, the airline stated in a press release that it is working closely with government stakeholders and relevant authorities to support impacted passengers and will resume operations when the airspace re-opens.
The airline also anticipated delays to the flight schedule once usual operations resume. Qatar Airways mentioned it had deployed additional ground staff at Hamad International Airport and other key airports to assist affected passengers.
