Qatar and Ghana Engage in Second Round of Political Talks


Accra: The second round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Ghana took place on Thursday in Accra, the capital of Ghana. Leading their respective delegations were Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Qatar, and Ambassador Ramses Joseph Cleland, Chief Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration for Ghana.



According to Qatar News Agency, during these consultations, both nations engaged in discussions focusing on bilateral cooperation and strategies to enhance their relations. Additionally, they addressed several topics of mutual interest, signifying a continued commitment to strengthening diplomatic ties.



The session saw the attendance of key figures, including Khalid bin Jabr Al Musallam, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Ghana, and Mubarak bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Assistant Director of the Department of African Affairs at Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, along with their accompanying delegation.
