Qatar and Kazakhstan Sign MoU to Enhance Judicial Cooperation


Doha: The State of Qatar and the Republic of Kazakhstan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) focused on cooperation in the work of the Public Prosecution and the Prosecutor General’s Office in Kazakhstan. The MoU is designed to foster collaboration by preparing and devising training plans to enhance the efficiency of public prosecution members and facilitate the sharing of expertise between the two nations.



According to Qatar News Agency, the agreement between Qatar and Kazakhstan also includes the transfer of sentenced persons between the two countries. The MoU was signed by HE Attorney General Dr. Issa bin Saad Al Jafali Al Nuaimi and HE Prosecutor General of Kazakhstan, Asylov Berik Nogaevich, who is currently visiting Qatar.



Both parties held a meeting to discuss strengthening cooperation in the functioning of the Public Prosecution, alongside a range of subjects of mutual interest, underscoring their commitment to improve judicial and legal collaboration.
