Muscat: HE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Sayed and HE Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion of the Sultanate of Oman Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef engaged in discussions to enhance trade and investment cooperation between Qatar and Oman. The talks focused on boosting economic relations to achieve mutual interests and contribute to the economic development of both nations.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions took place during Dr. Al Sayed’s official visit to Oman, where he led a Qatari trade and investment delegation. The delegation included representatives from various government institutions and the private and public sectors, aiming to bolster bilateral economic collaboration.
During the visit, Dr. Al Sayed also met with HE Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones in Oman, Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy. This meeting emphasized cooperation in the development of free zones and the exchange of expertise to create business environments conducive to attracting investment. The dialogue underscored the commitment of both countries to fostering a robust economic partnership.
