Doha: The Qatar Central Bank announced today an increase in its deposit interest rate (QCBDR) by 25 basis points to 4.10 percent, following an assessment of the State of Qatar's current monetary policy.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Monetary Policy Committee decided to raise the lending rate (QCBLR) by 25 basis points to 4.60 percent and to increase the repo rate (QCB Repo Rate) by 25 basis points to 4.35 percent.
The Qatar Central Bank stated that the decision to raise the interest rates will come into effect starting tomorrow, Thursday.
