Taipei:Doha The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of a recent armed attack in southern Egypt that resulted in the deaths of two Egyptian border guard officers.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Friday expressing the country's firm denunciation of the attack. The statement emphasized Qatar's steadfast opposition to violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or causes.
The ministry also conveyed Qatar's condolences to the families of the deceased, as well as to the government and citizens of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
