Doha: The State of Qatar has expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the recent attack on Mar Elias Church in Damascus, Syria, which resulted in several deaths and injuries.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement on Sunday reiterating Qatar's firm stance against violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or causes. The statement emphasized Qatar's absolute rejection of attacks on places of worship and the terrorizing of innocent civilians.
The ministry also affirmed Qatar's full solidarity with the Syrian government in its efforts to maintain security and stability. Additionally, Qatar extended its condolences to the families of the victims, the Syrian government, and the Syrian people, while wishing a speedy recovery to those injured in the attack.
