Hanoi:The State of Qatar has condemned recent attacks by the Houthi group on Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia, which resulted in several deaths, injuries, and property damage.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar issued a statement on Thursday, declaring that these attacks constitute a serious violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and pose a direct threat to regional security, civilian safety, and air navigation.
The Ministry further emphasized Qatar's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, supporting all legitimate measures taken to preserve its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. It highlighted that the security of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries is interconnected.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expressed condolences to the victims and their governments and wished a swift recovery for the injured.
