Qatar Condemns Israeli Minister’s Actions at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Jerusalem:Doha The State of Qatar has expressed strong condemnation of the recent actions by the extremist Israeli Minister of National Security and groups of settlers, who stormed the Al Aqsa Mosque under the protection of occupation police. Qatar has labeled these actions as a blatant violation of international law and a provocative act against millions of Muslims worldwide.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on Monday emphasizing that the Al Aqsa Mosque is an exclusive place of worship for Muslims. The Ministry declared that any unilateral measures aimed at altering the historical and legal status quo in Jerusalem and its sacred sites are considered null and void under international law.

The Ministry further warned that continued violations and provocations could lead to increased violence and instability in the region, undermining efforts for de-escalation. Qatar has called on the international community to urgently intervene and compel Israel to halt its ongoing violations against the Palestinian people and their sacred sites, in compliance with relevant international resolutions.

Qatar reaffirmed its steadfast support for the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people. The Ministry reiterated Qatar's commitment to ending the occupation and enabling Palestinians to achieve their legitimate rights, including the establishment of an independent state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
