Doha: Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has announced a significant deferral of all due payments on corporate credit facilities and financing programs for its clients, offering a three-month grace period without additional interest or fees.
According to Qatar News Agency, the bank revealed this initiative via a statement on X, highlighting its commitment to supporting the private sector and ensuring business continuity in the current economic climate. This move is part of a broader strategy to bolster businesses amid challenging regional developments.
Recently, QDB introduced a suite of financing and advisory programs. These initiatives, in collaboration with relevant entities, are designed to assist companies and factories within the food, healthcare, and complementary industries, aiming to provide essential support during these times.
