Qatar Engages in 2025 Islamic Development Bank Group Meetings in Algeria

Algiers: The State of Qatar participated in the 2025 Annual Meetings of the Islamic Development Bank Group held in Algiers from May 19 to 22, 2025. The meetings, themed "Diversifying Economies, Enriching Lives," focused on promoting sustainable development, supporting innovation, and enhancing economic resilience among member states.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Qatari delegation was led by HE Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance Khalaf bin Ahmed Al Mannai. Qatar's involvement included attending official meetings of the Group's institutions such as the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), the Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD), the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), the Islamic Corporation for the Insurance of Investment and Export Credit (ICIEC), and the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector (ICD).

The participation of Qatar in these significant meetings highlights its dedication to bolstering development cooperation with member countries and its commitment to the sustainable development goals set by the Islamic Development Bank Group.
