Qatar Engages in GCC Economic and Development Affairs Meeting

Doha: The State of Qatar took part in the 16th meeting of the Committee of Senior Officials of the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority, which was conducted virtually on Thursday. The meeting gathered representatives from the finance and economy sectors of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.

According to Qatar News Agency, Deputy Undersecretary for Economic Affairs at the Ministry of Finance, Dr. Saud bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, led Qatar's delegation. The meeting was attended by undersecretaries of finance and economy from various GCC countries. The discussions were centered on significant updates and recommendations aimed at enhancing regional economic integration.

The participants focused on aligning and executing the national economic visions of the GCC member states. The agenda also included a review of the annual report of the GCC Economic and Development Affairs Authority, along with discussions on issues of mutual interest among the member states.
