Qatar Facilitates Afghan Nationals’ Return and Condemns Israeli Plans for Ibrahimi Mosque

Doha: The State of Qatar has announced the facilitation of the return of a second group of Afghan nationals from the Federal Republic of Germany to Afghanistan. This initiative is part of Qatar's ongoing commitment to mediating and facilitating communication between Afghanistan and the international community.

According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar has also expressed strong condemnation of the Israeli occupation's plan to transfer the authority of the administration and supervision of the Ibrahimi Mosque from the Palestinian Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs and the Municipality of Hebron to the Jewish religious council in the Kiryat Arba settlement. Qatar described this move as a blatant violation of international laws and legitimate international resolutions, and as a provocation to the feelings of Muslims worldwide.

Additionally, Qatar, represented by the General Directorate of Traffic at the Ministry of Interior, participated in the twenty-first Arab Conference of Heads of Traffic Services. This conference was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in the Republic of Tunisia.

In reiterating its stance, Qatar condemned the Israeli plan concerning the Ibrahimi Mosque, underscoring its view of the plan as an infringement on international laws and resolutions. The condemnation highlights Qatar's firm position on issues impacting the Muslim community globally.
