Doha: The fifth edition of Qatar Foundation's (QF) Showtime! is set to unfold on Wednesday at the Pre-University Education Theater in Education City.
According to Qatar News Agency, the event is organized by the Student Affairs and Community Engagement team at QF's Pre-University Education (PUE). This year's production features 36 students from various QF schools who will present the musical "The Yellow Brick Road Adventure," inspired by the classic novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz." The show promises a blend of music and theatrical performances.
The production is designed to reflect QF's dedication to promoting culture and identity through bilingual content. It integrates Qatari cultural elements and emphasizes the use of the Arabic language. Showtime! is recognized as one of QF's leading extracurricular programs, providing students with a platform to develop their creativity and showcase their talents on a professional stage.
