Doha: The Peninsula newspaper has emphasized Qatar Foundation's pivotal role in reshaping Qatar's educational landscape, evolving into a globally recognized hub of learning, innovation, and intellectual empowerment. Since its inception, Qatar Foundation (QF) has aimed to nurture a knowledge-based society by establishing a comprehensive ecosystem that spans from pre-university to postgraduate education, research, and community development.
According to Qatar News Agency, The Peninsula editorial under the headline 'Nurturing Knowledge-Based Society' highlighted that by hosting branch campuses of globally ranked institutions, QF has provided opportunities for Qatari and resident students to access world-class education. The universities within QF have collectively graduated over 10,000 students, with the Class of 2025 adding more than 1,000 graduates from over 70 nationalities.
The Peninsula concluded by noting that QF's current trajectory is geared towards future readiness, integrating data-driven technologies, artificial intelligence, and global best practices into its strategy. Qatar Foundation's transformative role in education reflects a broader vision that places learning and innovation at the core of national development.
Meanwhile, Al-Sharq newspaper reported on Qatar's ongoing efforts in Arab affairs, particularly in the context of the Gaza Strip. Since Israel backed out of the ceasefire agreement negotiated in January through joint mediation by Qatar with Egypt and the United States, Qatar has endeavored to mobilize international and regional efforts to resume dialogue and implement the ceasefire stages, aiming to end the war in the region.
The paper noted that despite the challenging and complex situation, Qatar has persisted in its efforts to de-escalate tensions, release hostages and prisoners, and pave the way for a comprehensive and sustainable resolution to the Palestinian issue, ensuring the legitimate demands of the Palestinian people are met, including the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
From the onset of the conflict, Qatar has concentrated on finding mechanisms to ensure the safe and unconditional entry of aid into the Gaza Strip and working towards a path to peace that guarantees regional and international security and stability.
