Qatar Media Corporation Wins Six Awards at Arab Radio and Television Festival

Tunis:Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) has been honored with six silver awards at the 26th Arab Radio and Television Festival, which took place in Tunisia. These awards reflect the quality of QMC's television and radio productions. According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar TV was recognized with four awards, two of which were in the festival's program exchange categories. These were for the documentary "Souq Waqif: A Renewed Memory" and the television program exchange planning department. Qatar TV also received silver awards for the comedy series "Maradi and Dahham 3" and the documentary "Gaza: The Nightmare - Part Two," which competed in the category for television films and documentaries addressing the Palestinian cause. Qatar Radio was awarded two silver awards as well. One acknowledged its role in radio program exchanges among member states, and the other recognized its sports program "A Simple Difference." The festival, organized by the Arab States Broadcasting Union, annually gathers Arab radio and televis ion organizations to celebrate media productions and foster cooperation and creative competition across the region.
