Qatar National Bank Announces Current Deposit Rates Across Multiple Currencies


Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Wednesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been released, offering insights into the current interest landscape for a variety of currencies. The bank disclosed rates for USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD with maturities spanning from one month to twelve months.



According to Qatar News Agency, the USD deposit rates start at 4.29181% for a one-month term, decreasing to 3.77353% for a twelve-month term. The JPY rates are relatively lower, beginning at 0.35000% for one month and increasing to 0.56000% for twelve months. For the CHF, rates start at 0.01000% for one month, peaking at 0.09000% for three months before slightly declining to 0.05000% for twelve months. The GBP rates show a slight fluctuation, with a starting rate of 4.34000% for one month and ending at 4.35000% for a twelve-month term.



In terms of regional currencies, the QAR one-month deposit rate is at 4.85000%, with a modest decline to 4.45000% for twelve months. The SAR rates reflect a similar trend, beginning at 4.90000% for one month and reducing to 4.80000% for twelve months. The AED rates show an increase over time, starting at 2.05000% for one month and reaching 3.15000% for twelve months. Meanwhile, the BHD rates open at 5.37000% for one month and conclude at 5.12000% for twelve months.
