Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Thursday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been released, showing varied rates across different currencies and tenors.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD range from 3.77166% for a one-month deposit to 4.15958% for a twelve-month deposit. The Japanese Yen (JPY) deposit rates start at 0.86000% for one month, increasing to 1.66000% for a twelve-month deposit. For the Swiss Franc (CHF), the rates begin at -0.18000% for a one-month deposit, rising to 0.20000% for a twelve-month term. The British Pound (GBP) rates are set at 3.72000% for one month and escalate to 4.64000% for a twelve-month deposit.

In Qatari Riyal (QAR), the rates start at 4.05000% for a one-month deposit and decrease to 3.75000% for a twelve-month period. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) rates begin at 4.50000% for one month, with a slight increase to 4.60000% for twelve months. The United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) deposit rates start at 2.05000% for one month and rise to 3.15000% for a twelve-month term. Bahraini Dinar (BHD) rates begin at 4.60000% for a one-month deposit, increasing to 4.85000% for a twelve-month period.
