Qatar National Bank Announces New Deposit Rates Across Multiple Currencies

Doha: Qatar National Bank (QNB) released the latest deposit rates on Tuesday, revealing the interest rates for various currencies and timeframes. These rates include the US dollar (USD), Japanese yen (JPY), Swiss franc (CHF), British pound (GBP), Qatari riyal (QAR), Saudi riyal (SAR), United Arab Emirates dirham (AED), and Bahraini dinar (BHD) across different deposit durations ranging from one month to twelve months.

According to Qatar News Agency, the newly issued rates for the USD start at 3.60264% for a one-month deposit, increasing gradually to 3.83097% for a twelve-month deposit. For the JPY, the rates begin at 0.70000% for one-month and rise to 1.20000% for twelve-month deposits. The CHF shows a range from -0.10000% for a one-month deposit to 0.15000% for a twelve-month deposit. GBP deposit rates start at 3.74000% for one month and reach 4.60000% for twelve months.

For deposits in the QAR, the rates commence at 4.03427% for a one-month period and adjust to 3.88333% for twelve months. SAR deposits offer a rate of 4.50000% for one month and stabilize at 4.30000% for deposits greater than or equal to two months. Meanwhile, AED deposit rates begin at 2.05000% for a one-month term, with the twelve-month rate climbing to 3.15000%. BHD deposit rates are consistent at 4.60000% for a one-month deposit and slightly decrease to 4.50000% for a twelve-month term.
