Qatar National Bank Announces Updated Deposit Rates


Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Tuesday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) have been made public. The latest figures reveal the bank’s interest rates for various currencies and terms, ranging from one month to twelve months.

According to Qatar News Agency, the deposit rates for USD start at 4.31920 for one month and decrease slightly to 4.03420 for a twelve-month term. For the JPY, the rates begin at 0.35000 for one month and increase to 0.55000 for a twelve-month term. The CHF has a negative rate of -0.18000 for one month, which gradually rises to 0.01000 after twelve months. The GBP rates fluctuate between 4.33000 for one month and 4.24000 for a twelve-month deposit.

For the QAR, the one-month deposit rate is set at 4.85000, decreasing to 4.50000 for a twelve-month term. SAR rates start at 4.90000 for one month and slightly reduce to 5.05000 after twelve months. AED rates show an upward trend from 2.05000 for a one-month deposit to 3.15000 for twelve months. BHD rates begin at 5.25000 for one month
and decrease to 4.85000 for twelve months.

These rates reflect the bank’s current offering to customers seeking to deposit funds in various currencies, providing options for different investment strategies and financial planning.
