Qatar National Bank Releases New Deposit Rates Across Multiple Currencies


Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Monday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) are as follows:



According to Qatar News Agency, the USD deposit rates start at 4.32221% for a one-month term, gradually decreasing to 3.99933% for a twelve-month term. For the Japanese Yen (JPY), the one-month deposit rate is 0.35000%, dropping to -0.20000% for a six-month term, and then rising again to 0.30000% for a twelve-month term.



For the Swiss Franc (CHF), deposit rates begin at 0.21000% for one month and remain relatively stable, varying slightly to 0.20000% for three months and 0.26000% for both six and twelve months. The British Pound (GBP) sees a starting rate of 4.42000% for a one-month term, with a slight increase to 4.50000% for a twelve-month term.



In terms of local and regional currencies, the Qatari Riyal (QAR) has a one-month deposit rate of 4.85000%, reducing to 4.42500% for a twelve-month period. The Saudi Riyal (SAR) starts at 4.90000% for one month, peaking at 5.20000% for six months. The UAE Dirham (AED) begins at 2.05000% for a one-month term, increasing to 3.15000% over twelve months. Lastly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) has a one-month rate of 5.20000%, tapering to 4.78000% for a twelve-month term.
