Lopetegui expressed a deliberate choice to engage in only one international friendly this month. He detailed plans for the team's continued preparations, which will follow the conclusion of the tenth round of the Qatar Stars League (Doha Bank Stars League). This strategy includes reintegrating players from Al Sadd, Al Duhail, and Al Gharafa, who are participating in the AFC Champions League Elite.
