Doha: The Digital Content section at Qatar News Agency (QNA) stays abreast of significant news and events in Qatar and internationally, crafting visually appealing content that emphasizes key news segments. This includes preparing concise videos highlighting the visits, tours, and meetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
According to Qatar News Agency, the Digital Content section excels in distilling information and emphasizing critical points through a blend of visual appeal and informational accuracy. It covers festivals and events within Qatar and creates videos featuring exclusive statements, utilizing both static infographics and specially designed content to ensure timely news delivery. The section has expanded its digital services by increasing infographic production to encompass economic, sports, and political news.
From May 2018 to April 30, 2025, QNA published 228,599 posts across its digital platforms, covering major local activities as well as regional and international events in the Gulf, Arab, and global arenas. The posts were distributed as follows: 10,441 in 2018, 26,160 in 2019, 20,021 in 2020, 20,250 in 2021, 42,458 in 2022, 45,664 in 2023, 47,499 in 2024, and 16,106 posts up to April 2025.
The agency also produced 9,225 infographics from 2022 to April 2025, with 2,195 in 2022, 3,367 in 2023, 2,016 in 2024, and 1,647 so far in 2025. Emphasizing video content, QNA published 5,585 videos during the same period, including 1,022 in 2022, 1,870 in 2023, 1,963 in 2024, and 730 in early 2025.
