Qatar Participates in Forum on Best Practices of Mass Communication in Civil Retirement Bodies for GCC Countries

The General Retirement and Social Insurance Authority (GRSIA) participated in a virtual forum organized by the United Arab Emirates, on the best practices of mass communication in civil retirement bodies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.

During the forum, Director of Public Relations and Communication of GRISA Mohammed Abdullah Al Malki presented the most prominent programs and initiatives of the authority’s strategic agreements and companies, which aim to support and empower retirees and enhance their development role, including the ‘Khotwa’ program, the retiree discounts initiative, and the ‘I Communicate’ program, in addition to financial investment, the authority’s digital capacity and its media campaigns.

The forum aimed to exchange experiences and learn about best practices in the field of government communication at the level of Gulf pension and social insurance funds.

Representatives of civil retirement and social insurance bodies discussed their experiences and the most important projects and initiatives targeting groups covered by retirement and social insurance laws. They also discussed the challenges facing the offices and communication department at the level of spreading insurance awareness and how to address them, as well as the systems used and practices applied to improve institutional performance in the field of communication, in addition to awareness campaigns, impact measurement mechanisms, and contributions to communication awards and media crisis management.
