Bangkok:The State of Qatar participated in a joint meeting involving central bank governors from the GCC states and the People's Bank of China. This event was held in Bangkok alongside the 2026 annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Group.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar was represented by HE Central Bank Governor Sheikh Bandar bin Mohammed bin Saoud Al-Thani at the meeting, which took place in the Thai capital from October 12 to 18.
The gathering addressed various agenda items, and participants made decisions on the issues discussed.
