Qatar Shooting Team Celebrates Success at 20th Asian Games

Aichi-Nagoya:Qatar: The Qatar Shooting and Archery Association celebrated a significant achievement at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya 2026, with the country's shooting team securing a silver medal in the mixed team trap competition. According to Qatar News Agency, Dr. Mashal Ibrahim Al Nasr, President of the Association, expressed pride in the team's accomplishments. The team secured a total of four medals, including two gold and two silver, which Dr. Al Nasr attributed to the association's success and dubbed it the 'golden association.' Dr. Al Nasr emphasized that these achievements were possible due to the continuous support from Qatar's leadership and the Qatar Olympic Committee, led by HE President Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani. He commended the efforts that contributed to raising Qatar's flag high and congratulated champions Mohammed Al Rumaihi and Ray Bassil for their silver medal victory in the mixed team trap competition.
