Al duhail: Al Duhail SC announced Thursday the signing of Cameroonian defender Jean-Charles Castelletto for one season from French club Nantes. Al Duhail said in a statement on its website that the club has reached a final agreement with Castelletto to join the team for the 2025-2026 season.
According to Qatar News Agency, the statement added that Castelletto will be a significant addition to the team's defense, given his experience with several clubs, in addition to representing France at youth levels before choosing to represent his country, Cameroon.
The 30-year-old Cameroonian defender is the club's fifth signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Italian Marco Verratti, Polish Piatek, Senegalese Yououf Sebali, and Algerian Adel Boulbaina.
Al Duhail SC are preparing to represent Qatar in the AFC Champions League by competing in a play-off for the group stage against Iran's Sepahan Isfahan on August 12 in Doha.
