Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index concluded trading on a positive note, rising by 21.25 points, or 0.22 percent, to settle at 9,659.01 points on Thursday.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 182,854,884 shares being exchanged, amounting to a value of QR 681,366,540 across 20,570 deals spanning all sectors. The session recorded gains in the shares of 23 companies, while shares of 24 companies experienced a decline. Five companies maintained their closing prices from the previous session.
The market capitalization at the end of the session was QR 582,554,490,333.902, which showed a slight decrease compared to the previous session's market capitalization of QR 582,708,891,276.390.
