Doha:The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) Index began Thursday's trading session by dropping 23.24 points, or 0.24%, landing at 9,522 points due to losses in six sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the real estate sector showed a slight gain of 0.28%. In contrast, the transport sector fell by 0.04%, telecoms by 0.12%, banks and financial services by 0.32%, industrials by 0.33%, insurance by 0.49%, and consumer goods and services by 0.66%.
By 10:00 am, the QSE had traded QR 68.745 million, with 37.638 million shares exchanging hands through 3,209 transactions.
