Qatar Stock Exchange Index Declines by 0.77%

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange closed lower on Thursday, with its main index falling 79.66 points, or 0.77%, to finish at 10,211.16 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 111.1 million shares were traded during the session, with a combined value of QR252.3 million ($69.3 million) across 18,111 transactions. Shares in 11 companies advanced, while 35 declined, and six companies ended the session unchanged.

The market capitalization stood at QR616.91 billion at the close of trading, down from QR621.60 billion in the previous session.
