Qatar Stock Exchange Index Drops as 25 Companies Decline


Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index concluded Sunday’s trading session with a decline of 13.31 points, or 0.12 percent, settling at 10,641.09 points. The market activity saw a total of 143,784,879 shares being traded, amassing a value of QAR 330,564,175.231, distributed across 11,217 transactions encompassing all sectors.



According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a mixed performance with 21 companies experiencing gains, while 25 companies saw their shares decline, and four companies’ shares remained unchanged. This fluctuation contributed to the overall drop in the index.



The session closed with the market capitalization at QAR 622,816,572,731.390, marking a decrease from QAR 623,842,880,266.950 recorded in the previous session.
