Doha:The Qatar Stock Exchange index experienced a decline on Thursday, dropping by 1.35% as it shed 120.96 points to close at 8,810.17.
According to Qatar News Agency, trading activity on the Qatar Stock Exchange involved 164,690,519 shares changing hands, with a total transaction value of QR381,547,798.348 across 23,865 transactions encompassing all sectors.
During the session, stock prices for eight companies increased, while 42 companies saw their shares decrease, and four companies' shares remained unchanged. The market's total capitalization at the end of the trading day stood at QR535,632,155,147.374, down from QR542,997,531,385.798 in the previous session.
