Doha:The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index experienced a slight increase of 0.04% at the start of Wednesday's trading session, adding 3.75 points to reach 9,263 points. This rise was driven by gains in three sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the sectors showing positive performances included Telecoms, which rose by 0.46%, Banks and Financial Services with a 0.24% increase, and Real Estate, which saw a modest gain of 0.12%.
Conversely, several sectors faced declines. Industrials fell by 0.08%, Consumer Goods and Services decreased by 0.13%, Insurance dropped by 0.23%, and Transportation experienced the largest decline, falling by 0.54%.
By 10:00 am, the trading turnover was QR 37.478 million, with 21.317 million shares exchanged through 2,371 transactions.
