Doha: The general index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) rose 49.36 points, or 0.46%, at the beginning of Wednesday’s trading, reaching the level of 10,812 points compared to the last closing. This increase was supported by positive performances across all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, Qatar Stock Exchange figures indicated that all sectors experienced a positive performance. The Transportation sector led with a rise of 1.08%, followed by Industrials with a 0.68% increase. The Real Estate sector climbed by 0.60%, while Telecoms saw a 0.34% rise. The Banks and Financial Services sector improved by 0.23%, Consumer Goods and Services by 0.17%, and the Insurance sector recorded a 0.10% increase.
By 10:00 am, the market witnessed the trading of 118,956 million shares in 6,681 transactions, with a total value of QR 182,566 million.
