Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed its trading session on Tuesday with a rise of 32.57 points, marking a 0.32 percent increase, to settle at 10,139.29 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session involved a total of 225,261,509 shares being exchanged, with a total value of QR 416,787,795.836. These transactions were conducted through 22,560 transactions that spanned across all sectors of the market.
During the session, the stocks of 26 companies saw an increase, while the shares of 24 companies experienced a decline. Meanwhile, three companies maintained their previous closing prices, showing no change from the prior session.
By the close of the trading session, the market capitalization was recorded at QR 598,548,916,492.679. This was an increase from the previous session’s market cap of QR 596,301,926,796.148, indicating a positive trend in the market’s overall valuation.
