Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange index experienced an uptick on Sunday, as it closed with an increase of 52.64 points, or 0.48 percent, reaching a total of 10,915.73 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, during the trading session, investors saw a total of 109,402,773 shares change hands, amounting to a value of QR 230,247,808.11 spread across 11,859 transactions covering all sectors. Out of the companies traded, 27 witnessed a rise in their share prices, 19 faced a decline, and seven companies ended the session with unchanged stock prices.
Furthermore, by the conclusion of the trading day, the market capitalization was recorded at QR 654,195,702,796.735, reflecting an increase from the previous session’s market cap of QR 650,588,683,930.324.
