Doha: Qatari newspapers have focused their Monday editorials on several significant local and regional issues, particularly the discussions held by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani with HE Prime Minister of Iraq, Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi, and HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan, concerning regional developments.
According to Qatar News Agency, the newspapers underscored Qatar's support for initiatives aimed at de-escalating tensions and promoting regional stability. They emphasized the necessity for all parties to adhere to dialogue and diplomatic solutions, as well as to implement the provisions of the US-Iran Memorandum of Understanding. Al-Sharq highlighted that the talks held in Doha between HH the Amir and HE the Prime Minister of Iraq signified a mutual commitment to bolstering bilateral relations and enhancing cooperation to promote regional security.
