Baku:Saeed bin Abdullah Al Suwaidi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice and Chairman of both the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law and the Permanent Arab Committee on International Humanitarian Law, held a meeting with Charles-Richard Sabga, the Head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Delegation in Qatar.
According to Qatar News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law and the ICRC in areas of shared interest. They also explored opportunities for future collaboration between the Permanent Arab Committee on International Humanitarian Law and the ICRC.
Al Suwaidi expressed gratitude for the ICRC's support to the Permanent Arab Committee on International Humanitarian Law during its formation, underscoring the importance of ongoing collaboration to achieve the Committee's goals. Charles-Richard Sabga welcomed Al Suwaidi's appointment as the first Chairman of the Permanent Arab Committee on International Humanitarian Law and praised Qatar's legal expertise and anticipated contribution to the Committee's work.
