QC Underlines Imperative of Reinvigorating Role of Qatar-Malaysia Joint Business Council


Doha: The Qatar Chamber (QC) reaffirmed the imperative of reinvigorating the role of the Qatar-Malaysia Joint Business Council, with the aim of deepening ties between business leaders from both countries, facilitating reciprocal investments, and forging strategic alliances that reinforce bilateral commercial collaboration.



According to Qatar News Agency, this came during the meeting of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Rural and Regional Development of Malaysia, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, with the QC delegation participating in the GCC-ASEAN-China Economic Summit, headed by Second Vice-Chairman of QC, Rashid bin Hamad Al Athba.



Throughout the meeting, they discussed the collaborative ties between the two nations, particularly in the commercial and economic fields, as well as avenues for strengthening them.



This is in addition to the private sector’s role in elevating the rates of trade exchange to new heights, as well as the investment climate and opportunities available.



In addition, the QC delegation met with a range of members of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia to discuss the collaborative ties between the two sides and ways to bolster them in the pursuit of advancing the trade and economic relations between the two countries.
