QNB’s Latest Deposit Rates for Multiple Currencies Released


Doha: Deposit rates at opening as issued on Thursday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) indicate fluctuations across different currencies and terms. The rates provide insights into the bank’s current offerings for various deposit durations in USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD currencies.



According to Qatar News Agency, the USD deposit rates are set at 4.15848% for one month, gradually decreasing to 3.62512% for twelve months. JPY rates start at 0.40000% for one month and rise to 0.60000% for a twelve-month term. For the Swiss Franc (CHF), the rates begin at -0.22000% for one month and adjust to -0.08000% over a twelve-month period. The GBP rates commence at 4.00000% for one month, peaking at 4.11000% for a twelve-month term.



The QAR deposit rates start at 4.60000% for a one-month term, decreasing to 4.02500% for a twelve-month term. The SAR rates are consistent at 5.00000% for one month, maintaining similar levels except for a slight dip to 4.95000% for a twelve-month term. AED deposit rates begin at 2.05000% for one month, rising to 3.15000% over twelve months. Lastly, BHD remains steady at 5.00000% for most terms, with a decrease to 4.50000% for a twelve-month deposit.



These rates reflect QNB’s strategic adjustments in the financial climate, potentially influencing depositors’ decisions on currency and term selections.
