Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index ended Thursday’s trading session on a positive note, recording a rise of 37.79 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 11,363.71 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw a total of 245,255,559 shares being exchanged, with a total value of QAR 538,006,514.195. These transactions were conducted across 23,561 deals involving various sectors of the market.
In terms of company performance, shares of 29 companies experienced an increase in their prices. Conversely, 22 companies saw their share prices decline, while two companies remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.
The market capitalization by the end of the session reached QAR 676,275,627,502.300. This marked an increase from the previous session’s market capitalization of QAR 673,380,296,495.849.
