Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Thursday's trading session higher, increasing by 110.42 points, or 1.04%, to settle at 10,699.28 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw a substantial trading volume with a total of 246,205,899 shares exchanged. The total value of these trades reached QR 642,710,590.962, executed through 41,930 transactions spanning all sectors.
The trading activity resulted in 30 companies witnessing an increase in their share prices, while 22 companies saw a decline, and one company's share price remained unchanged. By the end of the trading day, the market capitalization was recorded at QR 636,446,512,031.236, marking an increase from the previous session's QR 630,100,374,376.808.
