Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed higher on Tuesday, gaining 44.45 points, or 0.46 percent, to reach 9,785.09 points. A total of 115,352,801 shares were traded during the session, reflecting a turnover of QAR 276,189,339.691 across 18,808 transactions in all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session saw the shares of 24 companies advance, while those of 27 companies declined. Additionally, the shares of three companies remained unchanged. The market capitalization also saw an increase, rising to QAR 588,205,232,715.102, compared with QAR 587,243,118,389.228 in the previous session.
