QSE Index Closes Higher with Increased Market Capitalization

Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index concluded the trading session on Wednesday with a notable increase of 87.96 points, or 0.78 percent, closing at 11,373.09 points.

According to Qatar News Agency, the trading session witnessed a total of 142,162,034 shares exchanged hands, with a total value of QAR 462,889,109.065, executed through 36,376 transactions across all sectors.

The session recorded a rise in the shares of 33 companies, while 18 companies saw a decline in their share prices. Two companies maintained their previous closing prices, indicating stability amidst the day's trading activities.

By the end of the session, the market capitalization had risen to QAR 680,331,304,005.868, up from QAR 677,117,034,976.276 in the previous session.
