Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) general index closed Thursday’s trading lower by 111.97 points, or 0.99 percent, to close at 11,226.84 points. During the session, 143,377,074 shares, valued at QR359,098,964.338, were traded in 18,014 transactions across all sectors.
According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw the shares of 14 companies rise, while 36 companies’ shares declined, and one company maintained its previous closing price. Market capitalization at the end of the trading session amounted to QR670,754,135,126.441, compared to QR677,678,153,724.225 in the previous session.
