Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index closed lower on Thursday, shedding 123.91 points, or 1.17 percent, to settle at 10,487.91 points.
According to Qatar News Agency, a total of 199,183,441 shares were traded in 38,363 transactions across all sectors, with a total value of QAR 569,783,720.564. The trading session saw shares of 11 companies advance, while 38 companies declined, and five remained unchanged.
The market capitalization at the close of the session stood at QAR 624,464,283,059.822, showing a decrease compared to QAR 631,943,510,372.624 in the previous session.
