QSE Index Closes Trading 0.23 Percent Higher


Doha: The QSE index closed Monday’s trading session up by 24.88 points, or 0.23 percent, ending at 10,665.97 points.



According to Qatar News Agency, during the session, a total of 195,022,796 shares were traded, with an overall value of QAR 595,102,654.287. These trades were executed through 18,284 transactions across all sectors of the market.



The trading session saw the shares of nine companies rise, while the shares of 40 others declined. Three companies maintained their previous closing prices, showing no change.



By the end of the trading session, the market capitalization was recorded at QAR 622,298,305,564.230, a decrease from the previous session’s capitalization of QAR 622,816,572,731.390.
