QSE Index Declines Marginally by 0.01% at Start of Sunday’s Trading

Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index edged down by 0.01% at the start of Sunday's trading, losing 0.88 points from the previous session's close to reach 9,763 points, pressured by three sectors.

According to Qatar News Agency, QSE figures showed gains in Consumer Goods and Services (+0.19%), Industrials (+0.11%), Insurance (+0.06%), and Banks and Financial Services (+0.04%). Meanwhile, performance was negative for Real Estate (-0.19%), Telecoms (-0.27%), and Transportation (-0.33%).

At 10:00 a.m., trading on QSE reached QR 51.300 million, involving 30.387 million shares through 2,169 transactions.
