QSE Index Drops by 0.42 Percent Amid Market Fluctuations


Doha: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) concluded its trading session on Monday with a decline of 43.94 points, marking a 0.42 percent drop, resulting in a closing figure of 10,455.70 points.



According to Qatar News Agency, the session saw a total of 140,307,098 shares traded, accumulating a value of QR 356,254,482.882. This activity stemmed from the execution of 14,264 transactions across all sectors. The trading day witnessed the shares of 12 companies rising, while 32 companies experienced a decline in their share prices, and nine companies maintained their previous closing prices.



At the close of the session, the market capitalization was recorded at QR 614,605,438,033.592, showing a decrease from the previous session’s QR 616,823,654,155.312.
